지난 4~6일 대만 Taichung, Conference Center of Asia University에서 개최된 'TAOMS-The 28th Annual Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery'에 대한구강악안면외과학회 이종호 이사장과 김철환 총무이사, 이부규 국제이사, 차인호 교수, 오희균 교수, 서병무 교수 외 전임의 등이 참가했다.
이번 제28차 TAOMS에서 이종호 이사장은 'Latissimus Dorsi(LD) Free Flap and Reconstruction Plate Used for Extensive Maxillo-Mandibular Reconstruction After Tumor Ablation', 차인호 교수는 'Biomakers and Predicting Factors in Oral Cancer', 오희균 교수는 'Surgery-First Approach(SFA) in Dentofacial Deformity Patients', 서병무 교수는 'Computer Simulation and Planning in Orthognathic Surgery'를 주제로 발표를 진행해 한국의 우수한 연구실적과 수술 및 질환 관련 최신 지견을 대만 구강외과의사들에게 소개했다.

한편 지난해 4월 23일 대한구강악안면외과학회와 대만구강악안면외과학회(회장 Yi-Jan Hsia)는 학술교류 MOU를 체결했으며, 이후 양 학회간의 활발한 학술교류를 진행하고 있다.
